Implements and supports clinical based applications for the Hospital, to achieve the most effective use of the hospital computer system. The application analyst must have a minimum of a BS Degree, preferably in Nursing, Information Systems or Computer Science. The Application Analyst must have a minimum of two years experience in Software Support. Two to three years experience with Clinical Applications (Nursing, Order Entry, Patient Care Inquiry) is preferred. PC experience required. MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) preferred. Utilizes personal computers and Peripherals (CD-ROM, printers, scanners). Utilizes MEDITECH terminals, printers and barcode printers where deemed appropriate. The application analyst must have knowledge of how multiple MEDITECH modules function and interact. The application analyst must have proficient written and verbal communication skills to interact with users and other Department Directors. The application analyst must have good hand ' to ' eye coordination for typing, keypunching, etc. Periodic use of personal vehicle may be necessary for hospital related business/errands. |
